My name is Kate, and I’m a freelance writer, sometimes journalist, occasional editor — if words are involved, so am I.

I started freelancing in 2019. Since then, I’ve worked with a huge range of clients, from major brands to start-ups and agencies. I love variety and don’t have a single niche. Instead, I’ve been lucky enough to write across a broad range of topics, including renewable tech, retail, travel, education and insurance. Originally from the humid subtropics of Meanjin (Brisbane), I’ve also spent time in London and Naarm (Melbourne) and now call Paris home.

When I’m not writing, you can find me running, drinking coffee, defending the em dash, catching up with friends or hunting for the city’s best jambon-beurre (Pain Pain is the winner so far).
